Pakistan-Kazakhstan Military cooperation: 

Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan met the President of Pakistan. During the official visit, Lieutenant General Marat Khussainov, accompanied by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin met Dr. Arif Alvi, the President of Pakistan, General Nadeem Raza, the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee, General Qamar Javed Bajwa Chief of Army Staff.

Both sides discussed the main issues of military cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, both in a bilateral format and within the framework of the United Nations. Pakistan-Kazakhstan military cooperation is a need of time.

Pakistan-Kazakhstan Military Hospital in Africa: 

During the meeting, the regional situation, cooperation areas in the field of combat training, military education and training, and joint deployment of a military field hospital under the flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the UN missions in Africa were discussed.

During the visit meetings were also held with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Amjad Khan Niyazi and Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmed Babar and the command of Special operation forces. The Kazakh delegation visited the National Defense University and got acquainted with the activities of the Center for International Peace and Stability of Pakistan.

During the visit delegation also visited the organization of the Promotion of Defense Exports (DEPO) to get acquainted with the products of the military-industrial complex of Pakistan.

The military cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan is conducted on a planned basis. The defense departments of the two countries have established cooperation in the field of Military education, combat training, and peacekeeping.

Combat Training: 

It is often known as BootCamp, an introduction to Army service, and where you will learn the traditions, tactics, and methods of becoming soldiers.

This is also going to be planned between the militaries of Pakistan and Kazakhstan in near future. In this basic training, militaries learn teamwork, discipline, and how to handle a weapon, rappel, and march.

The work is physically and mentally demanding as both militaries are professional so, they will learn from each other.  Over the years of bilateral cooperation, about 60 Kazakhstani servicemen have got a course training program in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
