Pakistan Army Showcases Multi-Domain Warfare Capabilities in Exercise Steadfast Resolve
Asim Munir Bahawalpur Visit:-
The CDF & COAS General Asim Munir’s Bahawalpur Visit highlighted Pakistan Army’s focus on operational readiness and future warfare. During the visit, senior commanders briefed the Army Chief on operational, training, and administrative matters, with special attention on preparations for multi domain operations and evolving security challenges.
The briefing reflected how the Pakistan Army is adapting its doctrine, training, and force structure to meet modern battlefield demands.
Asim Munir Bahawalpur Visit and field exercise Steadfast Resolve
At Khairpur Tamewali, the Army Chief witnessed the high intensity field exercise Steadfast Resolve. The exercise showcased the integration of unmanned aerial systems, advanced surveillance tools, electronic warfare capabilities, and modern command and control systems.
The drills demonstrated real time coordination between multiple combat elements. It also reflected the Armed Forces’ shift toward technology driven operations where speed, precision, and information dominance are decisive.
While addressing the troops, the Army Chief praised their high morale, professional competence, and operational preparedness. He reaffirmed that the Armed Forces remain fully prepared to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats.
Pakistan Army transformation and future warfare outlook
The COAS highlighted that the character of war has changed significantly due to rapid technological advancement. He emphasized that future conflicts will rely more on technological manoeuvre than physical movement, reshaping how offensive and defensive operations are conducted.
To meet these challenges, the Pakistan Armed Forces are rapidly adopting new technologies. Innovation, indigenisation, and adaptation remain central to this transformation, ensuring long term operational strength and self reliance.
Focus on education, skills, and support infrastructure
During the visit, the Army Chief inaugurated the ROHI eSkills Learning Hub (STP) to promote digital learning opportunities, particularly for students from Southern Punjab and across the country.
He also inaugurated the APS Abbasia Campus, reaffirming the Pakistan Army’s commitment to quality education and character building.
Later, he visited the EME Regional Workshop, where he was briefed on advanced maintenance systems supporting modern military platforms through local solutions and technical expertise.
Tribute to martyrs and conclusion of visit
Earlier, upon arrival at Bahawalpur Garrison, the Army Chief was received by the Commander Bahawalpur Corps. He laid a floral wreath at Yadgar e Shuhada and offered Fateha, paying tribute to the supreme sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs.
The Asim Munir Bahawalpur Visit underscored Pakistan Army’s emphasis on readiness, modernization, education, and honoring those who laid down their lives in defense of the nation.
