Israel targets emergency workers trying to help people trapped in Gaza City

Israeli Assault Intensifies on Gaza City

As the IDF gets ready for a massive attack to occupy and ethnically cleanse Gaza City, Palestinian inhabitants have been subjected to constant Israeli shelling, which has prevented rescuers from reaching those trapped in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Mahmoud Basal, a spokesman for Gaza’s civil defense, told Al Jazeera that Israeli quadcopters dropped pamphlets threatening a forced relocation on Friday, and that the Israeli army had been shooting at emergency trucks attempting to reach the injured in Zeitoun. Sections of the eastern neighborhood, where hundreds of homes have lately been destroyed, were off-limits to residents.

Israeli attack on Gaza City

As the military moved on with its plans, Israel has been using “heavy artillery, drones, and fighter jets,” said to Tareq Abu Azzoum of Al Jazeera, who reported from Deir el-Balah.

Four neighborhoods in Gaza City “report relentless bombardment shaking the ground day and night.”

“A complete dismantling of civilian life to ensure that people will never be allowed back into this area,” he stated.

Despite a barrage of criticism from the Israeli security establishment, numerous countries and organizations worldwide, and the relatives of the captives held in Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister has been pushing to take control of Gaza’s largest urban center and forcefully relocate hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to concentration zones.

Two hospitals were struck in the attacks, highlighting the Palestinians’ daily appeals that no area of the encircled and bombed enclave is secure. Al-Shifa in Gaza City, which has been repeatedly attacked and burnt during the conflict, claimed one life.

Additionally, a swarm of Israeli drones flying over the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah preceded the explosion that killed at least two people.

“A human is still 46 days under the debris.”

A woman in the destroyed Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City recovered her brother’s body and some of her father’s remains from the wreckage of a blasted house, according to Al Jazeera Arabic, amid claims of additional Israeli killings.

According to the woman, the remains had been confined with 31 other people since an airstrike that had occurred 46 days prior—the time frame suggests the incident happened at the end of June.

It had been hard to find them because of Israel’s very punishing siege and lack of technology to recover them.
